First Lotus Bud!

Hey Everyone! ;D

I just got my first lotus bud. This is my first year growing lotus. I grew them indoors and transplanted them outside and Mrs. Perry D Slocum died and all I have left are Perry's Giant Sunburst. I thought the leaves of the plant would have to go up first before I get any buds. What a surprise!!!







Here is the unknown purple water lily that I have. It's doing pretty well

I got my first lotus bud this year too...and mine came up before any arial leaves too.  Pretty neat.

How very exciting!  I'm still waiting for a bud. Getting quite a few arial leaves, but that's about it right now...I can't wait to see what I have.

I love your purple lily, I want one.

I had no idea I would get a bud. Don't worry your lotus will get a bud soon purplepshn2004 when you least expect it!. Sorry I don't have any extra purple ones. It hasn't developed extras.  :-\
