The Pink Flamingo makes me wanna cry!  I was so close!  It may be wishful thinking, but the tiny piece I saved may be doing something  @O@  Not sure about the tuber - too soon to tell.  Sorry to hijack your thread - beautiful lilies!

Pink Flamingo is outrageous!  @O@

Does Jack Wood always have the 'birdcage' center or does it open up like the others?  ?)(?

Hello everyone, thank you for the kind comments. Sorry about the errors earlier--I'll stick to managing photos on my end. I'm looking forward to sharing more photos as I venture to a dslr.

@Howell
I've sent you a pm.

@Joyce
That is the first that I've seen the center as such. I can say that I did move it to a larger pot than the quart pots that I typically use.

Hey Lorenzo, great photo's.

I wanted to ask though, from memory, isn't Laura Frase a true blue, not purple?

Cheers,

Sean, Laura is a true rich blue.
The photo color cast is off slightly.
That is the right flower and the pads below it are the right pads.
The color of Jack Woods is off some too.
It is a very rich rasberry color.

Tim, I have found that Laura Frase photographs differently during different times of the day.
For me she is bluest in the morning to noonish. Late afternoon, she starts appearing purple,
not to the naked eye, but taken by a camera. So I don't take pix of her after 1pm.
I wonder what time of day Enzo took that shot.  :thinking:

To me, she is a true blue with a touch of purple tint.  :)

Enzo, that supports my theory that larger pots = larger blooms, and larger amount of blooms.
Peace to all  ... Joyce

The plants are all the real deal. I photographed at the following times: Jack Wood 1:30pm, Laura Frase 1:29pm. Colors are off as I used the auto instead of M.

Awesome pics Enzo!  @O@ I am digging the Bayou Blue, although I normally don't prefer Blues simply because they aren't really blue to me, but I do like the wider petals on this one. :)
