WOW!  That looks so good!  Is that mosaic plant, or ? (The floating fern-like plant.)  Love it.

yes that water fern "salvinia" grows really fast here....I have gave some water fern to a few people around here to thin out my pond and in no time at all i have double the amount.....I stsrted off with only a few plants from a plant package i got from a member from this site.... o(

I think that above ground ponds are the way to go.  My back, knees, and arms could never tend to the plants in an inground pond.

Very nice pond. I love the above ground ponds too. I have 4 of them. They are so much easier to get in and out of.

Looking good.  Hopefully you'll be getting lily blooms soon.  Your fish will love spawning on the hyacinth roots.
Kat

There is never enough room for all of the water lilies that I want ;-)

if they don't bloom this year for me i'm ok with it...i love the pads just as much as the blooms....
When i moved everything to the above ground pond i had four little babies.....when i moved all the fish they were all swimming around fast like checking out all the space the above ground pond has....it was sooo funny and cute....
When i go out to the pond and start moving floating plants they come up ...if i leave my hand and fingers in the water they nibble on my fingers..... o(:-)

Hey Rad the Salvinia you sent cricket she sent me some (I love it Cricket) and I am trying to keep it over the winter...........it's in the green house right now and I think I may have to bring it in the house when it gets too cold as I don't heat the green house. I had it in my pond for awhile and I got aphids on my lily pads which spread to the Salvinia and I hosed everything off everyday but those darn little black aphids must be good swimmers  >:(-. So I took the Salvinia out of the pond and put it in tubs and sprayed it w/ bug spray and that killed all the aphids but it almost did in all the Salvinia too  :'(. It's starting to come back now so maybe it will make it to next spring.........we shall see  ::). I hope it does.........it's so purdy  o(:-)
