Tropical lilies are notorious heavy feeders, so I try to keep them full.<g> Fertilization is especially important in the summer warmth when growth is at its maximum. That was strongly reinforced this past August when I saw the magnificient blooms Rich Sacher was producing in the sultry summer weather.
I came home boosted the feeding regimen and here are pictures of my summer favorites. I rather like the color on the second. When seen in person it is almost that of a blueberry swirl.
